This Is Not a Court or Government Office. This privately run reference resource cannot pull an official docket, reset a court date, issue a certified copy, accept a filing, remove a case, or provide legal advice. Contact the court or clerk directly for those actions.
Need an Official Docket or Record?
Start with the court named on the citation, summons, notice, order, or JUSTICE case result. Clay County Court and District Court share an address but keep different case files. The court's clerk, rather than a city office or the County Clerk's general office, is the appropriate custodian for an ordinary court record.
- County Court case, traffic ticket, misdemeanor, probate, small claim, adoption, guardianship, or most juvenile matter: call Clay County Court, 402-762-3651.
- District Court felony, major civil, domestic-relations, equity, mental-health, judgment, or appeal record: call Clerk of the District Court, 402-762-3595.
- Future court setting: check the state calendar, then confirm with the clerk who holds the case.
- Case number or public Register of Actions: use Nebraska's JUSTICE Case Search or the courthouse public terminal.
- Certified or plain County Court copy: identify the document and use CC 3:29 through the filing court.
- Broad county administrative record: direct the request to the responsible department, or contact the County Clerk for routing.
